I strive to design spaces that, though they
are enclosed and finite, allow participants to feel limitless.
Buildings are ecosystems of animate and inanimate, feeling things and things that evoke feeling, living breathing persons interacting with ever evolving spaces.
Life is better when we participate in our environment. Through design, I attempt to bring to life what is:

Our power as humans is to see things for what they could be, not what they are. And our responsibility as architects is to act on that.
SUNSET HOUSE
A pop of color in a quiet Venice neighborhood. I had the pleasure of putting together the color palette and paint scheme for this existing addition. Inspired by the client’s memory of a striking Hawaiian Sunset, this home is adorned with a warm burnt orange base, soft yellow suede focus, and fierce magenta accent.
THE RESIDENCES AT CITRUS GROVE
SENIOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN GLENDALE, CA

This project is the rehab to convert a senior care facility to liveable senior apartments in Glendale, CA. I produced Entitlement and Schematic design sets for this building, designed unit layouts and configurations, and programmed the community spaces.
The design intention for The Residences at Citrus Grove is to create a fresh and thoughtful environment in which seniors can thrive. We attempt to achieve this through inspiring and interactive outdoor spaces, dignified private spaces, and lively community spaces.
